The Best Nursing Pillow
I nursed my daughter for a year using the Boppy nursing pillow, it did the trick but I always needed to grab an extra pillow to achieve the optimal height and support for nursing. When I was in the hospital having my second, my lactation consultant asked me to promise her I’d order the Luna Lullaby Nursing Pillow. I told her I already had the Boppy Nursing Pillow at home and she told me, “Trust me, buy it and thank me later, it makes a night and day difference!” I’m so glad I listened to her. I never experienced back pain while nursing or bottle feeding with the Luna Lullaby pillow and I never needed to add additional padding beneath it like I had to with the Boppy. A friend also handed me down a My Brest Friend Nursing Pillow, and it didn’t feel as comfortable as the Luna Lullaby either. So as a mama who has used all three, hands down, there’s no competition.
Two years ago when my sister was pregnant with her first, I told her she needed the Luna Lullaby Nursing Pillow, and she responded, “I’m pretty sure I’ll go with the Boppy because I love all the cute cover options they have.” Unhappy with her answer, and determined to make my point, I marched her up to my son’s nursery, sat her in my rocking chair and plopped the Boppy in her lap then replaced it with the Luna Lullaby. And just like that she was sold on the Luna Lullaby.
